About
Virginia Maddox Johnson, MAI, is a Georgia Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory Group. She has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, beginning her career in 1995 and transitioning into valuation practice in 1996.
She began her appraisal career in 1996 with Dargan, Whitington & Maddox, Inc., progressing through the firm before becoming a Georgia Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in 2001. She is currently licensed in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina, and regularly completes assignments throughout the Southeast.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2019, she served as Senior Vice President of Dargan, Whitington & Maddox, Inc., where she oversaw firm operations and managed both the appraisal and brokerage divisions.
Virginia serves as Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory Dealership Lead for the State of Georgia and has extensive experience valuing automotive dealerships and service facilities throughout the region.
Her practice includes complex valuation assignments for institutional lenders, private investors, governmental and quasi-governmental agencies, and other public-sector entities. She has significant experience with multifamily developments, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties, mixed-use projects, and assets involving layered financing structures and regulatory considerations. Additional appraisal experience includes residential subdivisions, healthcare facilities, hospitality properties, industrial assets, office parks, retail developments, mixed-use developments, marinas, golf course properties, and other special-use assets.
