Robert is a highly respected commercial real estate executive with a distinguished record of leadership, growth, and industry impact. His experience spans brokerage, corporate leadership, industry advocacy, and strategic growth, giving him a breadth of perspective and depth of expertise few executives in the industry possess.

Known for a transformational, service-driven approach, he has built and led high-performing organizations while remaining deeply committed to the people, clients, and communities they serve. His guiding principles have earned him recognition as a multi-year recipient of ALM Media’s “Best Boss in the Industry,” reflecting his longstanding commitment to culture, innovation, and excellence.

Today, Robert is the Regional President of the Southwest for Cushman & Wakefield, where he leads the firm’s business throughout most of the Western United States, including Southern California, Nevada, Phoenix, Colorado, Utah, and Idaho. He is responsible for the region’s strategic growth and performance, overseeing client service delivery, talent development, and recruitment across all service lines.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Robert served as CEO of SIOR Global, the commercial real estate industry’s leading professional organization, representing more than 4,000 professionals across 50 countries. During his tenure, he was widely recognized for elevating SIOR’s relevance and growth, significantly strengthening its position and influence in the market.

Earlier in his career, he acted for many years as CEO of Heger Industrial, a prominent regional firm with a 60-year legacy in Southern California. In 2017, Heger Industrial merged with Kidder Mathews. Following the merger, Robert joined their executive team as Regional President of Brokerage, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s presence across the West Coast.

He holds four of the most respected professional designations in the industry: SIOR, CCIM, CPM, and FRICS. A rare combination held by fewer than one percent of commercial real estate practitioners globally.
