Garrett Derderian is Vice President, Americas Corporate Communications at Cushman & Wakefield. Based in New York, he leads the firm’s external communications strategy across the Americas, working closely with regional leadership to strengthen and protect the company’s brand and reputation while advancing clear, compelling narratives aligned with its strategic priorities.

Derderian brings more than a decade of experience building and scaling public relations and corporate communications functions within the real estate industry. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he served as Senior Director and Head of External Communications at Greystar, where he oversaw communications strategy across the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions. In that role, he led global media relations, executive communications and thought leadership initiatives supporting the company’s growth and market positioning.

Earlier in his career, Derderian was Director of Market Intelligence at SERHANT., where he developed a first-of-its-kind research and public relations function designed to support the firm’s rapid expansion and elevate its market insights.
