About
David W. Wortman, MAI, R/W-AC, is a Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield specializing in eminent domain, right-of-way, and infrastructure-related valuation assignments throughout North Carolina and the Southeast. His work focuses on partial acquisitions, easement valuation, and litigation-support assignments for transportation, utility, and public-sector projects.
Mr. Wortman has experience valuing a broad range of commercial property types, including industrial, multi-family, retail, office, development land, and special-purpose properties. He provides valuation services for public agencies, utility providers, private clients, and legal counsel and has been accepted as an expert witness in condemnation and utility acquisition proceedings. He is an instructor for the International Right of Way Association (IRWA), teaching appraisal principles related to infrastructure and right-of-way valuation.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Wortman provided commercial appraisal services with North by Northwest Consulting and Miller and Associates. He began his appraisal career with Foster Rich & Company in Greensboro, North Carolina.
