Alex Urquhart, Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, specializes in hotel acquisitions and dispositions throughout the Southeast. Working alongside Cushman & Wakefield's Hospitality Group, which has completed more than $1.5 billion in hospitality transactions, he advises owners and investors on investment opportunities and strategies to maximize value across a diverse range of hospitality assets.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Alex built a diverse foundation in real estate and finance. He interned with Landmark Enterprises, a full-service commercial real estate firm in Charleston, where he supported the industrial and office leasing and investment sales teams. He later worked with William Means Real Estate, a leading luxury residential brokerage in Charleston, and gained additional capital markets experience on the debt side through Builder Circle.

Alex earned his degree from the College of Charleston, where he developed a strong interest in commercial real estate, hospitality investments, and capital markets.
