Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) was responsible for the construction and architectural design project of BASF’s new headquarters in Portugal, located in Lagoas Park, Porto Salvo.
BASF is one of the largest chemical companies in the world, headquartered in Germany and with a global presence in more than 90 countries. With a diversified portfolio covering solutions for industry, agriculture, mobility, and construction, the company stands out for its strong commitment to innovation and sustainability. Through its strategy focused on long-term value creation, BASF develops products and technologies that help address global challenges such as the energy transition and the efficient use of resources.
With a total area of 300 m², the space was designed to meet the demands of a contemporary work environment, incorporating informal areas, advanced acoustic solutions, biophilic elements, collaboration areas, private offices, and a layout aligned with international best practices.
“BASF’s new office stands out for its functional and innovative approach, comparable to the most sophisticated projects currently available on the market, reflecting a strategy focused on employee well-being, productivity, and flexibility. The choice of Lagoas Park proved to be the most appropriate one,” says Ricardo Passarinho, Senior Project Manager in the Project & Development Services (PDS) department at Cushman & Wakefield.
Lagoas Park, in Oeiras, is one of the main business parks in Greater Lisbon, noted for its modern architecture, green spaces, and strategic location, hosting a wide range of national and multinational companies.
