Brusselmans joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1994 and has been Head of Office Agency since 2005. He was appointed Chairman of Belgium & Luxembourg in 2021 and has been instrumental alongside Buysschaert in shaping the wider success of Cushman & Wakefield in both countries. As one of the foremost office advisers in Belux, Brusselmans has delivered landmark transactions for some of the largest clients of the firm. He will continue with his client work alongside his Country Head responsibilities.
Buysschaert has led Cushman & Wakefield Belgium & Luxembourg for the past five years, having joined the firm 15 years ago. He and Brusselmans will work on a smooth transition of responsibilities before Buysschaert leaves the firm at the end of June to launch a new real estate investment fund.

In addition to the Country Head announcement, Vincent Vanderstraeten has been appointed to succeed Marc-Antoine Buysschaert as Head of Capital Markets Office. Vanderstraeten has seven years of experience within the department and will now lead its strategic direction.
