The findings are supported by Cushman & Wakefield’s European Contractor Sentiment Survey, offering additional insight into cost drivers, pricing expectations and marketdynamics.

Key Trends in Europe

  • “All-in” office fit-out costs increased by 3.8% in 2025, with only moderate growth expected in 2026.
  • The “flight to quality” trend continues, driven by strong demand for Grade A offices and limited new supply.
  • Cost pressures vary across Europe, with stronger increases in Southern Europe and CEE, while Germany andparts of Western Europe are expected to see more moderate growth.
  • Labour costs remain the primary driver of fit-out cost increases across the region.
