Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Todd Hanrahan as Head of Project & Development Services (PDS), Australia & New Zealand, reinforcing the firm’s continued investment in its project management and development advisory platform across the region.

Mr Hanrahan has been with Cushman & Wakefield for seven years, most recently serving as Head of PDS New Zealand. Prior to that, he led PDS in Japan. Across both markets he delivered consistent year-on-year growth and performance improvements.

Over the course of his career with Cushman & Wakefield, Mr Hanrahan has been involved in landmark development projects including the Porsche Experience Centre and Salesforce Tower in Japan, and has successfully expanded the PDS platform into new and emerging sectors, including satellite internet infrastructure, social infrastructure and the wider built environment.

In his new role, Mr Hanrahan will lead the PDS platform across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with clients to deliver complex development and infrastructure projects across commercial real estate and adjacent sectors.

Tom Gibson, Cushman & Wakefield’s President, Project & Development Services, Data Centre Group & Sustainability, APAC & EMEA said Mr Hanrahan’s experience and leadership made him the ideal choice to lead the business across the region.

“Todd has built an outstanding track record across multiple markets, consistently strengthening client relationships while expanding our capabilities and delivering growth,” Mr Gibson said.

“His leadership across regions demonstrates his ability to scale high-performing teams and deliver complex development projects across a range of sectors. We are confident he will continue to accelerate the growth of our PDS platform across Australia and New Zealand.”

Mr Hanrahan said he was excited to lead the next phase of growth for the business across the ANZ region.

“Cushman & Wakefield has built a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects for clients across the built environment.

“I’m looking forward to working with our teams across Australia and New Zealand to continue expanding our capabilities, entering new sectors and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.”

Mr Hanrahan’s appointment reflects Cushman & Wakefield’s continued focus on strengthening its integrated technical advisory and project delivery capabilities across real estate, infrastructure, sustainability and the wider built environment.
