Albatros Media relocation - all in one & tailored-made premises
1
The Opportunity
We were given the opportunity to assist and advise Albatros Media, Czech Republic’s leading publishing company, with the process of planning and coordinating the relocation of their office premises to best suit the needs and preferences of their employees.
2
The Solution
The first crucial step of this project was for the Tenant Representation Service team to advise our client on whether to move premises or renegotiate their lease agreement and refurbish the space. Upon carefully analyzing the company’s needs and weighing all possible alternatives, moving the office premises to the newly completed project, Mayhouse, proved to be the most feasible option; offering easy accessibility by the Metro C line, an adaptable workspace layout, and plenty of relax zones.
From there, the Workplace Advisory team mapped out the office space in line with their knowledge of our Albatros Media’s culture, functioning and new expectations, taking care to actively involve the clients’ employees by allowing them to comment on proposed architectural plans and layouts.
Throughout all stages, from scouting for premises to devising the architectural concept and managing the project, out teams kept in touch with the client to ensure that everyone was on the same wavelength – aware of what the company needed. This comprehensive approach allowed us to build on the same initial idea and make the most of the time and budget that were given.

The Results
We designed the office as a shared open space, with the individual teams visually separated by various elements and meeting rooms. The book theme permeates the entire space and original murals adorn the office space, adding an original and inspiring element that underscores the company’s business and sparks creative flow.
Overall, we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our client with regards to communication, time management and adhering to the given budget.
From the client
"Scouting for premises, negotiating with the landlords, creating the space plans, devising the architectural concept and managing the project – all of this was done with an excellent approach and respect for our preferences. We constantly kept in touch, everything worked great, and we managed to complete the entire process from selecting the new premises to adapting them to relocating into them as planned in terms of time and money and without any complications, thanks to a highly professional collaboration and a warm and friendly approach."
