APAC Data Centre Update: H1 2025The operational capacity of Asia Pacific’s* data centre markets has moved closer towards the 12GW mark during H1 2024, having added about 1.3GW of new supply, recording the largest addition of scale in recent times. An equivalent quantum of absorption scale has also been observed during this period, indicating parity between demand and supply dynamics in the region, which is a very healthy indicator of continued growth. Development pipeline quantum is at 4.2GW of under construction activity throughout the region and 12.0GW in planning stages, which is an increase of 2.8GW since end of H2 2023.
